Payments & Cancellation

You should know what you're paying for before money moves.

The price, length of access, and amount due are shown before you pay. The Companion does not create a new charge without a choice from you.

7-day trial No card. No automatic charge.

The trial ends after 7 days unless you choose to continue.

Renewal A new payment only happens if you choose it.

There is no automatic renewal at launch.

Current prices IDR 19,000 for 7 days.
IDR 59,000 for 30 days.

The price is shown again before payment is completed.

Trial

Start without a card. End without a charge.

The 7-day trial begins when you activate it, not simply when you create an account.

When the seven days are over, the trial ends. If you want to continue, you choose what to buy next.

Doing nothing does not authorize a charge.

Access

Two lengths of access. The same Companion.

Current prices are always shown again before you pay.

Weekly7 days
IDR 19,000
Monthly30 days
IDR 59,000

If prices change later, a new price applies to a future purchase. It does not change a period you have already paid for.

Renewal

No automatic renewal at launch.

You pay for one period. It stays active until its end date, then it stops.

The Companion may remind you that access is about to end. A reminder is only a reminder. It is not permission to charge you.

If automatic renewal is offered in the future, it must be something you turn on deliberately and can turn off again.

When payment completes

Access begins after payment is confirmed.

Your account will show the start and end date of the access you bought.

Payments are processed through an approved payment provider. Available methods and the final amount are shown before you complete payment.

Never send a full card number, PIN, one-time password, or banking password in a conversation. The Companion will not ask for them there.

If your balance has been debited but access has not appeared, do not pay again just to be safe. Let the first transaction be checked.

Cancellation

If you do not want to continue, just stop.

Because access does not renew automatically at launch, there is no cancellation process you need to complete to prevent another charge.

If you stop using The Companion before a paid period ends, your access remains available until that period expires.

There is no penalty for choosing not to continue.

Refunds

Clear rules. Real cases still get human review.

A transaction should not be forced into an automatic answer just because the real situation does not fit neatly into one category.

May qualify for review
  • A duplicate charge for the same purchase.
  • Payment succeeded, but access was not provided because of a system error that cannot be recovered.
  • A verifiable transaction error.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.
Usually not refundable

Once paid access is active and the service is available as intended, a payment is generally not refunded simply because you change your mind or stop using the service before the period ends.

Human review

If something happens that is not clearly covered here, we will look at the transaction and the circumstances before making a decision.

When something goes wrong

Check first. Do not turn one unclear transaction into two.

Failed payment

If a payment is declined or fails, access is not activated from that transaction.

Duplicate payment

If two payments can be verified for the same access period and they were not separate purchases, the duplicate transaction can be reviewed for a refund.

Unrecognized transaction

Use the official Contact channel so the transaction can be checked. Never send a PIN, one-time password, or banking password for that review.

Transaction records

Transaction details are enough. Your private story is not.

After a successful payment, confirmation is provided through the payment system and/or your The Companion account. It should show at least the amount paid, the access purchased, the transaction time, and the access period.

If a transaction needs to be investigated, we may need the transaction ID, time, amount, and the account linked to it.

The content of your private conversations is not needed to determine whether a payment succeeded.

Separate purposes

Payment data and conversation data do not need to become the same thing.

The payment system needs transaction information. Conversations need a different space. The Companion keeps those functions separate as far as technically and operationally possible.

Price changes

A new price applies to a future choice, not a period you already paid for.

Prices may change as operating costs and the service change. If that happens, the new price is shown before you decide whether to buy another period.

There is no quiet price increase in the middle of access you have already paid for.

If the service stops

We should not take payment for access we do not provide.

If The Companion permanently discontinues the service, or cannot provide most of a paid period because of a decision or failure on our side, a reasonable resolution will be considered for the part that was not provided, including a refund where appropriate.

If something does not add up

A person can look at the transaction.

For duplicate payments, access that has not activated, an unrecognized transaction, or another situation that is not clearly covered here, use the official Contact channel.
